Cottar’s 1920’s Safari Camp

The award-winning Cottar’s 1920’s Safari Camp provides the discerning traveller with an authentic safari experience, with its own 7608-acre private conservancy and is situated one kilometre from the famous ‘seventh’ natural wonder of the world, the Maasai Mara in Kenya and the Tanzania Serengeti game reserve.

Guests can revel in the truly unique Cottar’s style of cream canvas tents, and furnishings of the bygone era of the 20’s, while at the same time enjoying the contemporary amenities required by today’s ‘modern traveller’. The camp has nine en-suite tents in total, including one honeymoon tent and four family units - which are all well situated ensuring privacy and quiet between them. For a completely exclusive, luxury stay option, a group of up to 12 guests can take over the ‘Cottar’s Private Bush Villa’ which comes complete with its own 25-meter swimming pool!

Two large mess areas allow for fine dining, drinking, reading or relaxing - whatever your preference. A lovely spa and swimming pool provide additional areas to relax in between game drives.
