Elephant Pepper Camp

Located in Mara North conservancy in the heart of Kenya’s Masai Mara, lies Elephant Pepper Camp - named after the thick grove of elephant pepper trees that shade it. With views across the open grasslands and roaming herds of game, this is the perfect base from which to explore the world’s most famous parks.

Eight spacious safari tents are spacious, bright and airy, and furnished with a beautiful mix of dark wood and intricate brass fittings; the final result is a classy and elegant feel with private verandahs from where you enjoy the starry night sky and the sounds of the bush.

Elephant Pepper offers one of the best opportunities to live and breath the Great Migration - when two million wildebeest and zebras cross from the Serengeti into the Masai Mara between the months of July to October in search of greener pastures. Even if you are not visiting the Mara during the migration months, the Mara is a renowned year-round destination and you can expect excellent wildlife sightings such as elephants, buffalo, giraffe and all the big cats - right on your doorstep. 

Start your days with early morning wake up calls of tea and coffee, accompanied by freshly baked biscuits, before heading out on a thrilling game drive through Mara North, with the camps’ highly experienced local guides.
