Loldia House

Loldia House is a beautiful, settler-style home, rich in heritage and idyllically located on the north-western shores of Lake Naivasha in Kenya’s Great Rift Valley Region. This is the perfect spot to sit back, relax and taste the pleasures of country life.

Accommodation is spread between twin and double cottages dotted throughout the stunning gardens, a double room in the main original house and a Top Cottage which has an elevated position on the hill behind, offering stupendous views of the lake and surrounding area. Ancient and giant fig trees act as a magnet for a variety of bird species as well as providing wonderful shade to the property and the al fresco lunch and breakfast settings. 

From the infinity pool, one can marvel the breathtaking lake views and the dormant volcano, Mount Longonot, ahead in the distance. There is a little spa at the pool area which offers a good range of treatments - some of which can even be done from the privacy of your room. 

Activities at Loldia include both day and night game viewing on Loldia Ranch which is home to plenty of buffalo, hippo, impala and even some resident leopard, bird walks and boating on Lake Naivasha - a great opportunity to view the wildlife from the lake shore. Nearby attractions include the famous Lake Nakuru National Park (for almost guaranteed rhino sightings), Lake Elmenteita for scores of flamingo and pelican populations and Eburru Forest - home to the critically endangered mountain bongo.
