Ol Lentille

Ol Lentille | Laikipia

Located in northern Kenya’s spectacular Laikipia region, Ol Lentille is a community-owned safari lodge and 40,000-acre private conservation area. It was gifted to the Maasai and Samburu people, allowing them control over the conservation and tourism on their land. The lodge has four fully staffed private villas, which offer privacy and personalised service. There are several common areas, including an infinity pool.

Ol Lentille's close partnership with the local community allows you authentic access to the Maasai and Samburu culture. A range of experiences are offered, including dinners at a manyatta with elders, Singing Wells, and beading workshops. For young people, the Morani Youth Club offers children from four upwards a day in the bush with a local warrior.

The conservancy, a major wildlife migration corridor, is unfenced and managed in partnership with the local communities, who receive a share of the income of the tourism business. It is home to the endangered African wild dog, elephant, Grevy’s and Burchell’s zebra, greater kudu, leopard, striped and spotted hyena, and klipspringer. Day and night private game drives and walking tours are included. Additional activities such as camel safaris and quad biking can also be booked.
