Do I need riding experience?

All horseback safaris can be customised to meet your needs. Whilst all of the horses are accustomed to wildlife and the riding is gentle in nature, all riders should be able to to handle a situation if a horse is spooked given the unpredictable nature of a horseback safari.

Do I need equipment?

We advise guests to bring full length jeans or trousers and heeled shoes. The stables will provide helmets on your behalf.

Are there any age restrictions?

Different stables have different restrictions but typically these are based on experience rather than age.

Can non-riders join?

Yes, non riders can meet for bush breakfasts, lunches and sundowners. They may wish to embark on vehicle or walking based safari but will likely take different routes before meeting at your given destinations.
