Whilst our experience designers exclusively adopt a bespoke approach, the below itinerary, recently enjoyed by Vogue Williams & Spencer Matthews and their family is designed to give you an idea of what is possible and the indicative costs. Day 1 & 2
Upon arrival at the airport in Nairobi you will be greeted inside the airport and assisted with your baggage and immigration processes. You will then be transferred to Karen Gables in the beautiful Karen region of Nairobi. The rest of the day will be planned pending flight time confirmation.
On your second day you will enjoy exploring Nairobi as desired with your own private vehicle and driver. You may wish to explore the leafy suburbs of Karen where you can visit the Giraffe Center and the Karen Blitzen Museum or visIt the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage. There are some amazing food options in Karen including Cultiva and The Talisman. There is always the option to chill out, enjoying a massage in your room and lounging by the pool. Day 3
After an early morning breakfast you will be transferred to Wilson airport for a connecting flight to Cottar's where you will met by a Cottar's guide and transferred with a short game drive safari en-route to the stunning lodge.
After a short briefing at the lodge, you will enjoy a delicious lunch and can unwind by the pool for a a couple of hours or enjoy an optional spa treatment before embarking on your second adventure of the day. You will have the choice a cultural visit, game drive safari, canvas bush bath, waterfall visit or a guided bush walk/ run. As the sun goes down you will be escorted to a stunning "sundowner" spot to enjoy some light snacks and refreshments.
In the evening you will be treated to a delicious dinner and drinks before relaxing and eventually retiring to your room for the night.
Days 4, 5 & 6
After early morning wake up calls with coffee and tea you will embark on your chosen activities with your guide. You will have the choice of cultural visits, game drive safaris, canvas bush baths, waterfall visits or a guided bush walks/ runs. There will be one activity in the morning and one after lunch on each day. You will enjoy food and drink in the bush in stunning locations, in the open Kenyan air. Dinner, drinks and relaxation will be enjoyed in the evenings during your incredibly special stay. The level of service in Cottar's is extraordinarily high and you will be made to feel very special here.

Days 7 - 12
After an early morning breakfast, short game drive safari and connecting flight you will arrive at the stunning White Sand Luxury Villas in Zanzibar. Situated on the heavenly Paje beach on the eastern coast of Zanzibar, where postcard perfect glistening white sands and aquamarine waters are in abundance. With a stunning beachfront setting, affording uninterrupted views across the crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean, guests can enjoy total privacy within the exotic gardens and the fabulously secluded stretch of beach.
The experience at Zanzibar White Sand is all about immersing yourself within your coastal surroundings; relax on the beach or by the pool, enjoy an intimate candle-lit dinner set up on the beach or swim with dolphins. The clear calm waters, protected by a beautiful coral reef, and steady winds makes for the perfect kitesurfing destination as well as other leisurely watersports such as snorkelling, kayaking or ‘island hopping’ on a traditional boat. We also recommend using the lovely beach cruiser bikes and enjoying an afternoon of cycling along one of the most stunning beaches in the world!
On the final day, depending on flight times you may wish to avail of a day trip to Stone Town en route to the Airport with your own private vehicle and driver. A stunning way to end a trip of a lifetime in East Africa.

Indicative costs above are based on adults sharing. For children and for single travellers please ask your experience designer.
NB Whilst our service is experience design, we partner with Cheli & Peacock (CP) to process bookings. CP are the premier Destination Management Company in East Africa (fully bonded by the Kenyan Association of Tour Operators and also members of the African Travel & Tourism Association). Operating since 1985 and with offices in Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda they work with travel agencies and consultants to provide booking peace of mind, financial protection and they ensure that you receive AMREF flying doctor insurance in the region. Should you wish to proceed, you may chose to contract with CP and be subject to their terms and conditions.
- What is typically included in the cost?

A meet and assist service at the airport, all food & drink, accommodation and activities (e.g game viewing safari/ horseback safari/ walking safari), connecting flights and vehicle transfers and AMREF flying doctor cover incase of emergency. NB White Sands is half board to allow for the opportunity to try local restaurants also.
- What isn't included?

Your international flights (arrival and departure to/ from the region) are not included in this indicative cost. Connecting flight including the flight to Zanzibar is included. Some activities such as hot air balloon rides are additional. Some premium spirits are not included. We also encourage travellers to buy their own travel insurance and to be aware that there is a tipping culture in East Africa.
- When is the best time to visit?

East Africa is great to visit all year round however there are typically heavy rains from mid March to late May.
From December to mid-March, the days are hot and sunny, usually with clear skies.
From June to November the days are bright and cooler which some travellers may prefer.
